We are seeking a motivated and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:.
- Recruitment & Staffing:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for open positions, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring processes.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees for day-to-day HR-related inquiries.
- Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by promoting employee engagement initiatives.
- Performance Management:
- Support managers in the development and implementation of performance reviews, feedback sessions, and goal-setting.
- Assist in managing performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Training & Development:
- Coordinate and support training programs, workshops, and development opportunities for employees.
- Identify and assess training needs to promote continuous learning and employee growth.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Provide guidance on compensation, salary benchmarking, and incentive programs.
- Compliance & Recordkeeping:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
- Support the HR team with audits and reporting requirements related to HR functions.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records, HR systems, and databases.
- Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for management review.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Required Skills and Abilities:
