Your responsibilities will include managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating financial operations, and fostering relationships with patients and referring providers. Responsibilities
Office Management
- Oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Manage office technology systems and coordinate with vendors for upgrades or troubleshooting.
- Develop and implement office-wide policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Financial Management
- Manage patient accounts, including payment plans, billing, and collections.
- Conduct monthly financial reviews with oral surgeons to evaluate performance and set goals.
- Ensure daily input and reconciliation of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs).
Patient Relations
- Handle escalated patient concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Review treatment plans with patients and assist with financial discussions, offering creative solutions such as payment plans or financing options.
- Monitor patient satisfaction through feedback and implement strategies for improvement.
Staff Management
- Recruit, hire, and train front office staff, ensuring high performance and team morale.
- Schedule and oversee staff duties, providing regular performance evaluations and feedback.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with referring dentists and oversee the preparation and delivery of treatment letters.
- Manage scheduling and workflow within the office to enhance productivity.
Compliance and Records Management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other state/federal regulations.
- Schedule staff training sessions on compliance and risk management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date office and employee records.
Marketing and Outreach
- Manage social media presence and respond to patient inquiries on online platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing professionals to develop strategies to attract new patients and build relationships with referring providers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management in a dental setting.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in practice management software and financial reporting tools.
- Knowledge of insurance billing, EOBs, and EFT reconciliation is a plus.
