JOB – Senior Control System Engineer
LOCATION – Atlanta, GA
TERM - Contract
RATE – $55 - $60 per hour.
My client – a systems integrator of turnkey solutions across a number of Manufacturing sectors are on the lookout for an experienced Control System Engineer to join their team initially on a 6-12 month Contract basis.
Experience of ground up programming and writing PLC / SCADA systems using Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs is a pre-requisite for this position.
The ideal candidate will additionally have full project lifecycle experience with customers or clients in the Materials Handling, Packaging, Fast Moving Consumer Goods or Distribution sectors will be of particular interest.
The Senior Control System Engineer will ideally have the following attributes :
- BS or MS in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engineering.
- PLC Programming experience using Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi or Beckhoff.
- Ability to program at Structured Text level.
- Electrical Design experience.
- Good Network protocol knowledge (Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet etc.).
- Demonstrable experience in working with Servos, VFDs or Motion Control Products.
- Excellent communication skills.
