Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews in the execution of landscape maintenance tasks.
- Build and install landscape features such as gardens, patios, and walkways.
- Maintain and irrigate lawns, gardens, and other green spaces to promote healthy growth.
- Perform tree care activities including planting, pruning, and removal as necessary.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and used safely by team members.
- Train new employees on best practices in landscape maintenance and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and tree care practices.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
