The HR Generalist is an essential part of the Premier Press team by supporting the daily tasks of Human Resources (HR) department including partnering with the HR Manager and the HR Specialist in recruiting, payroll, benefits, leave administration, HRIS maintenance and upkeep, culture initiatives, special projects, leadership support, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Base Responsibilities:
- Support recruiting, payroll, leave administration, HRIS, culture initiatives and projects as needed.
- Support organizational structure, goals, and transformational culture projects.
- Support and monitor performance management systems and processes.
- Employee relations, investigation, and legal compliance/communications.
- Support benefit and wellness programs.
- Support, motivate, mentor, and develop leadership team.
- Collaborate with leadership in the development of long-term people operational plans and growth strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years progressive human resource experience.
- Understanding of HRIS systems, basic computer programs for spreadsheets and presentations.
- AA or advanced degree in related field such as Human Resources, Business Management, Business Administration, or other related degree preferred.
- Understanding of employment pest practices, compliance, and legal expectations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of emotional intelligence.
