Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews and extending job offers.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Act as a trusted resource for employees, addressing inquiries about HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, helping to resolve employee concerns and grievances.
- Assist in addressing employee concerns and complaints while maintaining confidentiality and promoting a positive work.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws.
- Ensure timely payroll processing and benefits administration, resolving payroll related inquiries and providing bilingual support to employees as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation and handling of employee performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and other HR-related processes.
- Assist in the administration of workers’ compensation claims and reporting.
- Support all Human Resource related compliance needs with special attention to federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Track and report HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, and retention, while identifying trends.
- Support the HR team in coordinating training and development initiatives.
- Assist in identifying training needs and track employee participation in learning programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee
- Generate key HR metrics reports as needed (e.g. headcount, turnover, and compensation statistics.)
- Participate in various HR projects, HR technology upgrades, and employee engagement programs.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR strategies to support business goals.
- Education: Associates degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required, equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience: 3 years of HR experience.
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish & English)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP).
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
