Job Title: Payroll/Accounting Clerk
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY: Coordinate and assist in payroll and accounting functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
*Prepare all incoming data from various departments to produce an accurate, properly authorized paycheck and related documentation for the assigned pay groups through the ADP payroll system.
*Investigate accuracy of payroll data and take corrective action when necessary.
*Edit any changes pertaining to payroll corrections.
*Maintain accurate payroll records by means of computer generated reports and internal balancing/auditing procedure to reduce the possibility of mistakes or inaccuracies.
*Address and respond to employee inquires.
*Assist in preparing and balancing payroll summaries and reports, as required.
*Assist with Month End and year End Closings.
*Assist with special assignments in helping other departments.
*Provide administrative support for CFO, senior management, and any other miscellaneous and related duties as assigned or required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE and COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents is preferred such as policies and procedures. Ability to operate basic computer programs. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to company employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions and solve service problems.
PHYISCAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee is required to use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
