What are the responsibilities and job description for the ENCAPSULATION TEAM LEAD position at Premium Production?
Premium Production is a manufacturing company building a team to help change the world.
We are looking for a full-time Encapsulation Team Lead to join our team in Hildale, Utah. You will be responsible for leading effective and efficient team members that produce quality capsules filled and weighed on time according to accepted requirements.
What you will do:
- Review and complete maintenance work orders efficiently and quickly
- Oversee the operation of all Capsylon 3005 machines
- Walk through the encapsulation area and check the functionality of the machines daily
- Understand, know, and perform the functions of every role on the team
- Be responsible for assigning the team their roles and tasks for the day
- Check the quality of the capsules produced by team members on an hourly basis
- Complete pre-op, post-op, and sanitation checklists given from Quality Management
- Enforce standards, policies, and procedures in accordance with OSHA, FDA, and cGMP guidelines
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of manufacturing activities, batch records, and logbooks in accordance with regulatory requirements
What we prefer you to bring:
- 6 months of experience working in the Encapsulation Department
- 1 year of experience in manufacturing operations within a dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, or FDA-regulated industry
- Ability to lead a team to hit goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What you must bring:
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Not allergic to fruits, vegetables, fibers, and spices
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate machines
- A high school diploma or equivalent
Pay: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
