Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to serve as a Mid-Level C5I Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Commander, Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC). In this role, you will provide tactical and operational expertise to enhance the readiness and effectiveness of the Surface Force across multiple warfare domains. Travel may be required.

Support Locations:
This role provides support across various SMWDC sites, including:
- SMWDC Headquarters, San Diego, CA
- Mine Warfare (MIW) Division, San Diego, CA
- Sea Combat (SC) Division, San Diego, CA
- Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Division, Dahlgren, VA
- Amphibious Warfare (AMW) Division, Little Creek, VA
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide expertise in combat systems, C5I networks, and weapon systems to ensure operational readiness
- Plan and coordinate combat system operations within Strike Groups, Fleets, or Major Training Commands
- Support systems testing and ensure combat system effectiveness in military organizations
- Lead operations as a Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) or Carrier Group Integrated Control Officer (CG ICO) during Carrier Strike Group deployments
- Evaluate war-fighting readiness, capabilities, and system performance using qualitative and quantitative methods
- Create reports and presentations on operational readiness using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Access)
- Mentor junior personnel and provide leadership in mission planning and execution
- Work with senior leadership to align operations with strategic goals
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required at the time of proposal submission
- Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of military experience
- Minimum 10 years of military, government, and/or relevant industry experience with surface navy’s combat systems, C5I, networks, and weapon systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a JICO or as a CG ICO (AQD LT1) with CSG deployment experience
- Strike Group, Fleet, or Major Training Command, Systems Testing Command or similar military organization planning experience
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative assessment methods to support war-fighting readiness, capabilities, and capacity evaluations
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Access, Excel, Power Point, Project and Word)

Salary : $80,000 - $135,000
