Job Title: Education and Evaluation Coordinator

Reports To: Executive Director

FLSA Status: Exempt


Summary: The Education and Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for developing and coordinating educational programs, curriculums, and courses, including conferences, workshops, legislative forums, webinars, and other training programs in accordance with the agency’s objectives. This staff member will create, document. and implement a process to assess the effectiveness of educational programs through surveys, feedback, and other evaluation methods as well as request, monitor and distribute continuing education credits for PAA training activities. 


Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

  1. Supports, plans and serves as the executive producer for the agency’s virtual trainings and meetings, including webinar link creation, creation of meeting registration sites, management of virtual logistics, and evaluations. *
  2. Manages all virtual training platforms, to include Zoom and the learning management system (Learn Dash) to ensure high quality of delivery and utilization; to assist with content creation for the LMS, the creation of a standard operating process to record and upload identified trainings to the agency’s website and the creation of monthly reports to track usage. *
  3. Assesses the effectiveness of educational programs through surveys, feedback, and other evaluation methods. Implement modifications and improvements to educational programs based on assessment results and stakeholder feedback. *
  4. Manages the Continuing Education (CE) process for both in-person and virtual training, to include review of CE applications, specific board documentation, and certificate delivery for prevention, social work, public health and other CE granting boards; to also include internal tracking of requests, timing of certificate delivery as well as review and make recommendations for process improvement of this service; creation of post training evaluation report. *
  5. Maintains detailed records and provides reports to the agency on all training activities, progress, and outcomes. *
  6. Supports and assists in the planning of in-person functions, including special events, meetings, and trainings. *
  7. Will be responsible for analyzing the education and training needs of PAA staff, identify workshops, webinars, conferences, and other offerings that meeting these needs, will create a system to monitor and track staff credentials/certification.*
  8. Will serve as a trainer for the agency and develop subject matter expertise as requested.* Updated 2/2025 *Essential Functions 
  9. Creates and implements detailed work plans to assure timelines; develops and recommends efficient processes to leadership team for review and approval. *
  10. Works with staff, vendors, trainers, and contractors to negotiate and secure agreements, services as well as receipt of invoices and submission of check requests within budget parameters. *
  11. Assists with event logistics, as needed and include technology, food, venue, and lodging. requirements. * 
  12. Assists with budget planning, updates, and monitors expenses. *
  13. Coordinates the debriefing process for all events and maintains accurate records for the agency.*
  14. Represents the agency at various local, state, and national events. *
  15. Interacts with customers, clients, and other stakeholders to respond to questions, concerns, and other needs.* 
  16. Supports agency and departmental strategic planning.*
  17. Performs other related duties as assigned. *

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and mass e-mail software.


Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Specialized Training:

Bachelor’s degree in education, Business Administration or relevant field. Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist Assistant (OCPSA) or ability to obtain OCPSA within one year required. Must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License.


Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to execute agency work.
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgement when representing the agency.
  • High degree of professionalism.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks.

Employees may negotiate hybrid work from home/in office schedule. 


Conditions of Employment: 

The final applicant selected for this position will be required to pass a drug screening. The final applicant will be expected to live in the central Ohio region. 

Hours: Monday – Friday 8AM to 5PM, with one-hour unpaid lunch. 

Salary Range: $ 50,000 - $55,000
