What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collaborative Assistant Project Estimator Wanted position at PRI Technology?
PRI Technology is a leading Heating Venting Air Conditioning contracting firm located in Long Island. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Estimator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a minimum of three years of experience in the HVAC or Construction space. You will be responsible for creating estimates for two Project Estimators, one senior and one mid-level, using our ESUB system.
You will assist in the development of project schedules and timelines, analyze construction plans, HVAC documents, scope of work, costs, and contracts. Additionally, you will work with project managers to understand and execute change order requests and support in the preparation of proposals.
We require excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate with construction, HVAC, and electrical contractors. Your attention to detail is also essential, as you will be working with draft drawings, measurements, and contractual agreements.
