What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Assistant Project Estimator Required position at PRI Technology?
PRI Technology is a growing Heating Venting Air Conditioning contracting firm located in Long Island. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Estimator to join our collaborative team.
The ideal candidate will possess a green card or be a U.S. citizen and commit to five days in the office. This role requires a qualified individual with a minimum of three years of experience in the HVAC/Refrigeration space, including experience with subcontractors and vendors.
Your responsibilities will include creating estimates, developing project schedules, analyzing construction plans, and working with project managers to execute change order requests. You will also prepare proposals and communicate with subcontractors and vendors.
We require a Bachelor's degree, although high school or equivalent work experience will be accepted. Previous experience as an Assistant Project Estimator in the HVAC or Construction space is a plus.
We use Adobe software to read draft drawings, measurements, and contractual agreements. You should be proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
