Pridestaff is currently seeking a Manual & CNC Lathe Operator for a manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a long-term position with potential for hire. Please see job requirements below to be considered.
- Pay $24.00 to $25.00
- Shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday
Qualifications:
5 years of extensive manual and CNC lathe experience producing high tolerance parts to drawing specification using a variety of materials. A working knowledge of MasterCAM programming is a must. Tool & Die experience is preferred. Each applicant must process good written and verbal communication skills as well as a working knowledge of the various tools and techniques of the trade.
Responsibilities:
a. Produce high tolerance parts to drawing specification using a variety of materials.
b. Plan and set-up machining projects on both manual and CNC lathes.
c. Maintain a clean safe and organized working environment
d. Read and follow Engineering drawings and work instructions
e. Write, modify, input and override required program instructions for CNC processes
f. Inspect parts using precision measuring devices.
g. Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees and management to maintain quality
requirements, operational goals, efficiencies and health/safety requirements.
h. Miscellaneous duties and other assigned tasks
