What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Sales Representative position at PrideStaff?
We are looking to hire a Counter Sales Representative in The Stockbridge, MA Area for a HVAC and plumbing company.
Pay: $22-$25/hr
Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Purpose:
Assist customers and fill their orders while maintaining the highest level of internal and external customer service and maintaining company safety standards.
Plumbing Counter Sales Responsibilities:
- Actively seek opportunities to help customers. Locate and obtain ordered products for customers.
- Assist in the handling of defective parts and warranty information.
- Process approved credits for customers when products are returned.
- Keep pricing lists and structures confidential.
- Address questions about product, pricing and availability.
- Make sure all product catalogs are up-to-date and that expired ones are discarded.
- Accurately and safely move products of varying weights according to customer needs.
- Accurately input and fill customer orders.
Plumbing Counter Sales Requirements:
- Plumbing or HVAC knowledge required.
- Counter sales experience preferred.
- Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations.
- Result driven and customer focused.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
