A rapidly growing technology company in Laguna Niguel is seeking skilled professionals for fiber optic cable assemblies and terminations. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for terminating fiber optic cables and producing customized cable assemblies for our aerospace, industrial, and broadcast customers.
The position involves working with specific equipment and processes, which we will train you on. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a company with a quality management system certified to the internationally recognized ISO 9001 and AS9100D standards. The work schedule is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a temp-to-hire position, and the starting pay is $20/hour.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the work area
- Verification of materials received with the work order
- Measuring, cutting, and stripping the fiber cable
- Terminating the fiber to the connector with epoxy
- Heating and curing the connection
- Crimping, polishing (hand and/or machine)
- Optical testing
- Heat shrinking/labeling, and packaging
