Job Summary
The Manager of Client Service and Inside Sales is responsible for client retention, account expansion, and optimizing the client service process. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, driving additional business from existing accounts, and ensuring smooth communication and follow-up. This position collaborates with Project Management to ensure accurate material availability and scheduling. The Manager is also responsible for managing, training, and developing departmental team members while continuously seeking ways to improve processes and information flow for greater efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Retention and Business Expansion
Serve as the primary contact for existing clients, ensuring a high level of engagement and satisfaction.
Proactively seek additional products and business opportunities from existing clients to increase company's manufacturing portfolio.
Maintain ongoing communication with clients to strengthen relationships and identify future business needs. Inside Sales Growth & Client Development
Drive inside sales initiatives, focusing on growing accounts beyond reorders.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional products and services.
Monitor client activity to anticipate potential expansion opportunities and proactively reach out.
Work with the sales team and leadership to develop strategies for maximizing client engagement. Departmental Team Leadership and Development
Manage, train, and develop departmental team members to ensure smooth and professional client interactions.
Provide coaching and support to ensure team members are effective in client communication, issue resolution, and sales growth strategies.
Implement structured training programs to continuously improve team performance and client service standards. Process Improvement & Information Flow Optimization
Continuously evaluate and refine departmental processes to create a more efficient operation.
Improve internal communication and information flow to enhance accuracy, speed, and client satisfaction.
Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in client service and inside sales processes and implement solutions. Collaboration with Project Management
Work closely with Project Management to ensure accurate material availability and scheduling.
Ensure clients receive realistic timelines based on up-to-date scheduling and inventory data.
Facilitate smooth coordination between Project Management and Client Service to maintain transparency and efficiency. Key Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in client service, inside sales, or account management, preferably in manufacturing, nutraceuticals, or contract manufacturing.
Prior experience growing accounts and developing new business within an existing client base.
Experience leading and developing a team in a client-facing role. Performance Metrics
Client retention and satisfaction scores.
Growth in additional business from existing clients.
Efficiency improvements in client service and inside sales processes. Team development and performance in managing client relationships.
Successful coordination with Project Management to ensure accurate scheduling
and material availability.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 Per Year
