What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custom Account Specialist position at Primal Wear?
The Custom Account Specialist is responsible for acting as a customer liaison to guide them through the process of designing and ordering custom cycling apparel. They are responsible for providing the highest level of customer service in the industry and ensuring that all orders are completed on time and to the customer's satisfaction. This position requires strong collaboration with all departments within the company.
Salary Range: $55,000
- Work closely with Account Executive to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and manage projects
- Communicate customer's design needs with the creative department in clear and concise terms
- Guide customer through the design process, offering expert advice on best design practices and clearly understanding and conveying design changes to artist
- Build timelines for projects based on customer needs and follow up with customer on a consistent basis to ensure all deadlines are met
- Prioritize projects and tasks based on internal and external deadlines
- Process a high volume of daily communication including email and phone in a timely manner
- Help customers through email, phone or in person meetings to understand the custom process from design to ordering to delivery
- Check and approve final art files before proceeding to print to ensure total accuracy
- Clearly communicate progress of projects with Account Executive and internal departments, ensuring that all departments work together to deliver the best customer experience
- Assist with challenging customer issues and escalate to management as needed
- Develop creative solutions to customer needs that fall outside of the standard custom process
- Maintain strong company and product knowledge, keeping updated with newest products and options available to customer
- Provide customer feedback and suggestions to appropriate staff
- Prior sales or account management experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Very detail oriented
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous design knowledge/experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated
- Ability to manage up to 200 clients at one time
- Strong multitasking skills
- Strong interpersonal communications and a positive attitude
- Cycling enthusiast is a plus
