Junior Formulation Scientist

As a Junior Formulation Scientist at Primally Pure, you will play a key role in developing innovative, high-quality skincare products that align with our commitment to natural and non-toxic formulations. You will assist in research, formulation, testing, and documentation while working closely with senior formulators and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the research, development, and formulation of skincare products, ensuring they meet safety, efficacy, and regulatory standards.
- Support in sourcing and evaluating raw materials, working closely with suppliers to stay updated on the latest ingredient innovations.
- Conduct stability and compatibility testing to assess product performance and shelf life.
- Maintain detailed documentation of formulations, batch records, and testing results in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure smooth product development and launch.
- Participate in troubleshooting and optimizing existing formulas to improve performance and stability.
- Stay current with industry trends, innovations, and regulatory requirements in the skincare and cosmetic science field.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in cosmetic or skincare formulation (internship experience considered).
- Knowledge of cosmetic chemistry, raw materials, and formulation techniques.
- Understanding of industry regulations (FDA, EU, ISO, etc.) and clean beauty standards is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for skincare, clean beauty, and product innovation.
