As a Team Leader at Primark in the United States, you will be at the forefront of our expanding fashion revolution. Your role is crucial in driving progress and owning your team's development.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate and coach your team of Sales Associates to provide an exceptional store environment and customer experience.
- Optimize sales and implement ongoing feedback loops for continuous improvement.
- Engage Sales Associates with daily tasks, training, and coaching on Primark ways of working.
Collaboration and Support:
You will collaborate with the store management team to support the running of the store and develop a high-performing retail team. This includes:
- Managing an allocated section of a department, creating inspiring displays, and allocating daily tasks to keep your team motivated.
- Helping other managers with day-to-day store operations.
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and development of Sales Associates while promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Daily Operations:
You will oversee the cash lanes and Fitting Room areas as needed, handle customer feedback and complaints, and manage stock file accuracy to drive improved availability in-store. Additionally, you will monitor and manage all pricing according to Primark Pricing Principles.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing teams and maintaining high store standards.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of local selling patterns.
- Nimbleness and adaptability to flex plans and priorities as needed.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, prioritizing and working within tight deadlines.
- Able to effectively manage difficult situations and have good problem-solving skills.
