Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Benefits Administrator for a leading company in the automotive industry. This role is essential to the daily administration of group benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and flexible spending plans. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and attention to detail while ensuring compliance and efficiency in benefits operations.
Responsibilities:
- Research and resolve benefits-related issues.
- Ensure benefits programs align with corporate and HR strategies and comply with federal laws.
- Audit all benefit plans to ensure compliance and timely vendor payments.
- Maintain and update enrollment documents, materials, and summary plan descriptions (SPDs).
- Prepare correspondence, expense reports, presentations, and spreadsheets; edit for accuracy and clarity.
- Manage general inquiries and complaints via phone, email, or in person, requiring knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Investigate claim issues and facilitate resolution with employees and carriers.
- Process medical support orders.
- Maintain information on the company’s benefits intranet site.
- Coordinate and assist during acquisitions.
- Serve as the primary contact for wellness initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist management with implementation.
- Support major projects such as open enrollment, system conversions, and plan updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Benefits experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
