IV Therapy Nurse – Med Spa (Part-Time) Prime IV Wichita

Key Requirements for the Role:

• Active LPN-IV or RN credentials required
• Must be highly skilled and confident in IV placement
• (We provide full training on our med-spa procedures, but IV proficiency is essential from day one—this is not a training ground for IV skills.)
• This is a part-time role (2 shifts per week) with a fixed, repeating schedule — not a PRN position. We can typically accommodate your availability when creating the schedule.
• Full-shift availability required — we do not schedule partial shifts.

We should be able to schedule most of your shifts at the closest spa to where you live (we have an east and west Wichita location). To make the schedule work, a part time nurse might need to work an occasional shift at the spa not as close. They are only 20 minutes from each other.

• Compensation & Benefits:
• Total Hourly Compensation: $31–$39/hour
• Base Pay: $24–$26/hour
• (Based on RN or LPN-IV licensure and experience)
• Tips & Commission: Average an additional $7–$12/hour

• Monday: 9 AM – 3 PM
• Tuesday–Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience (50%)

• Create a welcoming environment where clients feel supported and educated in their wellness goals
• Build relationships and educate customers on therapy benefits

Teamwork & Culture (30%)

• Be an integral part of “Team Prime” by fostering a fun, collaborative, and high-performing team atmosphere

Administrative Duties (10%)

• Assist with checking customers out, cleaning, organizing, and restocking supplies
• Support day-to-day operations as we grow and serve more of the Wichita community

Nursing (10%)

• Review health intake forms
• Start and manage IVs (up to 20 per day) safely and efficiently

What You’ll Do:

Customer Engagement

• Greet clients, guide health goal conversations, and ensure each visit is high-touch and personalized
• Educate customers about IV therapy, injection options, and how our services support their lifestyle

Therapy Administration

• Prepare and administer IV bags, injections, and specialty treatments (following strict safety protocols)
• Monitor customer comfort throughout their visit

Team Contribution

• Exhibit professionalism, emotional intelligence, and leadership in every shift
• Help maintain Prime IV’s reputation as both the best IV med-spa and one of the best places to work in Wichita

Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized environment
• Help manage inventory, restocking, and administrative tasks

About the Owners

Cody and Lacey Beard have proudly called Wichita home since 2008. Married for 16 years, they’ve built their lives around family, community, and wellness entrepreneurship. Cody is a Navy veteran with degrees in nuclear engineering and business. Lacey is a University of Maryland graduate with a mathematics degree and spent 14 years running her own retail business.

The Beards are deeply involved in local nonprofits and youth sports, believing that strong kids create strong communities. Their mission is to make Prime IV the top med-spa in Wichita while helping thousands of people live healthier lives.
