About the Opportunity :
Prime Personnel Resources is assisting a company that has an opening for a Controller / Business Manager. This is a direct hire, permanent opportunity. This individual would oversee all financial operations for a premier private school.
Key Areas of Accountability
Responsible for the financial and accounting operations of the school and over all facets of the business office.
- Manages the accounts payable and receivable
- Preparation of the annual budget
- Preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements
- Assist outside CPA firm with preparation of annual reviewed financial statements and tax return
- Human resource functions which include preparation of annual employment contracts, processing new employee paperwork and preparation of monthly payroll via a 3rd party payroll vendor
- Management of employee benefit plans guided by a group of trusted professional service firms
- Organize the school’s risk management committee and serve as the liaison with the school’s insurance representative regarding specific issues
- Serve on the school’s Leadership team
