Qualification
Experience: at least 2 years of Phlebotomy experience.
Certifications: Phlebotomist Certification
Provide 3 reference letters from lab supervisors, clinical teachers, or physicians.

Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and special phlebotomy procedures while ensuring accurate patient identification and specimen labeling.
- Assist patients with in-processing, review paperwork, and provide guidance before specimen collection.
- Follow Joint Commission and VA policies, adhering to strict infection control and laboratory safety protocols.
- Collect, process, and deliver blood and urine samples to designated departments while maintaining proper storage and transport conditions.
- Accession specimens, document collections, and manage laboratory records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized phlebotomy area, conduct inventory checks, and restock supplies as needed.
- Utilize lab software for order entry, specimen tracking, and test processing to ensure efficient workflow.
