Qualification
Experience: at least 2 years of Phlebotomy experience.
Certifications: Phlebotomist certification
Provide 3 Reference letters from lab supervisors, clinical teachers, or physicians.

Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and special test-related phlebotomy procedures while ensuring proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
- Review paperwork, provide guidance, and assist patients before specimen collection.
- Adhere to Joint Commission and VA policies, infection control procedures, and laboratory safety protocols.
- Collect, process, and deliver blood and urine samples to appropriate departments while following proper storage and transportation guidelines.
- Accession specimens, document collections, manage lab records, and maintain cleanliness in the phlebotomy area.
- Conduct inventory checks, restock supplies, and report low stock levels to clinic management.
- Use lab software for order entry, specimen tracking, and test processing as required by the facility.
