What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Chef position at Primo Restaurant?
Primo is looking an experienced Event Chef to plan and execute menus for our growing events department in 2024! From weddings to rehearsal dinners, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of excellence to our clients, working in tandem with the Event Manager and maintaining Primo’s standard of food and service. Our Barn has been featured in publications such as Boston Weddings and The Knot, and is just one of the places on premises to have an intimate gathering on a working farm. Pay based on experience.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 3-5 years of catering and/or restaurant experience.
- A self-motivating attitude with a calm demeanor at all times, while leading a kitchen team through production, execution, and clean up.
- The talent, organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail that represent Chef Melissa Kelly's full-circle kitchen philosophy and reputation for exquisite dining.
Job Type: Part-time
Shift:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work setting:
- Fine dining restaurant
Experience:
- Culinary experience: 3 years (Required)
- Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
