SUMMARY:
Primoris Energy Services is seeking an Administrative Receptionist to support company administration through a variety of clerical office duties. This role includes coordinating and communicating office activities, greeting and screening visitors, answering and directing inbound telephone calls, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
JOB DUTIES:
- Welcome visitors and provide direction as necessary.
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls.
- Maintain the appearance of public areas (front desk and boardroom).
- Present a positive and professional image of the company to all visitors, suppliers, inquirers, and other interactions.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Type forms, letters, reports, and memos as required.
- Send, receive, and distribute mail (including priority post, packages, and courier services).
- Ensure that appropriate evacuation procedures are carried out in the event of an emergency.
- Complete daily data entry of payroll and handle paperwork for new hire employees as directed.
- Assist HR, Division Manager, and all in-office personnel.
- Obtain supervisor’s signature on all contracts, subcontracts, and change order documents as required.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- High School Diploma or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- One to three years of office administration experience.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficient in English and Spanish.
- Basic payroll and HR knowledge is a must.
- Must be courteous and diplomatic in dealing with others.
- Must be able to work under deadlines, be reliable, and work independently.
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
- Completion of New Hire Orientation Quiz.
- Superior telephone manners.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to relay information accurately.
