What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Superintendent position at Prince Contracting, LLC?
- Manage and schedule foremen and subcontractors
- Assist estimators and engineers with quantities and productions
- Develop and maintain positive client relations (owner, clients, consultants, public)
- Coach, supervise and train foreman and field employees on the project site(s)
- Establish performance and production goals for project teams
- Confer with management and engineers, inspectors and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods
- Manage all the construction activities of the project in accordance with contract specifications and drawings and in full compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations
- Execute construction activities in compliance with the applicable schedule and budget
- Review project performance on a continuing basis and recommend to project manager corrective actions as needed
- Implement the Company policies and procedures
- Assist with On-the-Job Training
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of bridge experience in Heavy/Highway/Bridge construction
- Excellent interpersonal skills to include strong verbal and written communication
- Must possess knowledge of FDOT contracts, specifications, and reports
- Must be able to think independently and solve problems effectively
- OSHA Competent person certification
- Must have an excellent driving record
