Golf Security Ambassador
Primary Responsibilities: to provide security & emergency response services throughout the properties ensuring that their performance is within the guidelines of Prince Waikiki & Hawaii Prince Golf Course. Follow and enforce all safety & security guidelines and established Prince Waikiki & Hawaii Prince Golf
Course policies & procedures to safeguard all guest & ambassadors. Conduct investigations and ensure that all incidents are accurately documented to ensure incidents of concern are resolved on a timely manner. All duties will be conducted through the spirit of Lokomaika’i.

Golf Security Ambassador
Primary Responsibilities: to provide security & emergency response services throughout the properties ensuring that their performance is within the guidelines of Prince Waikiki & Hawaii Prince Golf Course. Course policies & procedures to safeguard all guest & ambassadors. Conduct investigations and ensure that all incidents are accurately documented to ensure incidents of concern are resolved on a timely manner. All duties will be conducted through the spirit of Lokomaika’i.
Essential Duties:
- Always greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Respond rapidly & efficiently to all crisis events that occur on property in a calm & efficient manner.
- Provide 1st aid and CPR/AED as needed.
- Conduct foot patrols & patrols via golf cart of the properties and report all unusual circumstances, persons etc.
- Ensure the safety and security of all guest & ambassadors, as well as to protect property by enforcing all security & safety guidelines.
- Initiate investigation, write incident and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion and ensure appropriate follow up with guests, visitors, and ambassadors, documenting all contacts.
- Enforce safety & security guidelines to safety the hotel & golf course & guest property.
- Escort individuals off property.
- Conduct locker and parcel search and other duties relating to security & safety as directed.
- Create and maintain a culture of service excellence by consistently demonstrating effective behaviors.
- Maintain confidentiality with respect to guest and employee incidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned and requested or deemed necessary by management.
- Train ambassadors in other departments on safety & security issues.
- Clerical duties:
o Issuing keys abiding by the companies key control policy.
- Greeting contractors, visitors & ambassadors upon arrival to the property.
- Signing in contractors & visitors as trained.
- Operating a state-of-the-art fire system and activate emergency procedures.
- Air conditioned and non-air-conditioned work areas. Work areas included interior and exterior working conditions and confined spaces.
- Travel throughout the property.
- Outdoors in various weather conditions patrolling the property.
- Traverse the property via utility and golf cart.
- Must have flexible availability and be able to work varied shift/ day including holidays determined by the Director of Loss Prevention; Position shift covers 24 hours a day/ 7 days per week.
- Overtime work on business needs.
- Ability to use two-way radios.
- Ability to use Windows based computer to include Microsoft Office.
- Ability to use various office equipment including but not limited to calculators, photocopiers, time clock and facsimile machines.
- Ability to operate a utility and golf carts.
- Ability to monitor, review and use closed circuit televisions (CCTV).
- Able to analyze emergency situations, remain calm & take control and lead other ambassadors.
- Ability to manage stressful and challenging situations.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to sit, walk, stand and bend continuously to perform essential functions for the full duration of the work shift. Sit at a desk to complete administrative duties.
- Ability to grasp, lift and carry objects up to 50lbs.
- Ability to multi-task to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language with internal and external guest and Ambassadors.
- Ability to communicate over the phone or radio.
- Interviewing skills; write accurate reports and documents investigations in a timely manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Guard license preferred (ACT 208 certified).
- 2-Years related work experience preferred.
- CPR/AED Certification preferred.
