Medical Receptionist Opportunity:
Principle Health Systems is hiring a Medical Receptionist/Scheduler to support our busy, rapidly growing clinical laboratory company (Principle Laboratory) with headquarters in the League City/Webster, Texas area. This position will support our laboratory operations and clients/customers by scheduling home health patient draws/specimen collections for our mobile phlebotomy team.
This position is in South Houston, Texas (Webster/League City, Texas area 77058)

- Full-time; permanent role
- Pay: $16.00/hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM (with a 1-hour lunch)
- Occasional 5-10 hours of overtime offered to help the team (based on volume/business needs)

Medical Receptionist Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for ensuring that incoming orders are logged and scheduled efficiently and that all customer and/or patient concerns are addressed urgently.
- Monitor faxes and emails for new lab orders
- Log all orders/save files and check for completeness
- Communicate any Incomplete orders to the Sales team for follow-up.
- Schedule, via phone, all patient draws based on defined route schedules and customer needs
- Communicate all scheduled orders and any questions/concerns to appropriate internal contacts via email and phone
- Address and/or escalate any patient or customer Issues in a timely manner
- Maintain detailed notes on all customer interactions and scheduled draws
Medical Receptionist Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Bilingual or Fluent in Spanish required
- Previous medical office or office experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
- Our ideal candidate will have diligent attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills ,and be self-motivated to achieve daily scheduling goals.
- Must have excellent phone and emal communication skills
- Must have keen attention to details, a can-do attitude and ability to problem solve independently
