Under the supervision of the RCM System Manager, the Billing System Administrator will ensure optimal administrative setup of the Billing System and adjunct systems.
Specific Duties
- Accurately update the Charge Master (rates and contractuals) as directed following the Rate Change Control Process.
- Accurately add and update payor setup information in the billing system (currently Zoll).
- Work collaboratively with the IT and Billing teams to resolve Zoll / Billing related issues.
- Monitor, update and ensure compliance with non-Governmental applications and renewals.
- Assist the compliance department by pulling requested documentation for internal and external audits.
- Complete applications and other documents and requests for EFT set-up.
- Complete applications and requests for EDI submissions.
- Ensure clearing house information is set up correctly.
- Provide training and documentation support for the billing personnel regarding billing system set-up, clearing house operation and clearing house reporting.
- Conduct and report on reconciliation of claims batch submissions.
- Maintain administration user access to payer portals involving user maintenance for the billing, DQA personnel including set up and terminations.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle with team lead, supervisor, or management experience preferred.
- Extensive end user experience with Zoll CAD / Billing systems required.
- Exceptional attention to detail required.
- High school diploma at a minimum; however, bachelor’s degree in related area of study preferred.
- Experience with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
