Our client is looking to hire a Manager of Payroll Operations and Systems. Our clients services include scheduling, registration, insurance verification, hospital billing, revenue integrity, collections, payment compliance, credentialing, health information management, customer service, payroll and physician billing. They also provide full-service revenue cycle management as well as targeted solutions, such as Medicaid Eligibility, for external clients across the country. They serve close to 1,000 hospitals and 3,000 physician practices.
Job Summary
The Manager of Payroll Operations and Systems is primarily responsible for supporting the Lawson Payroll system as well as other systems that relate to payroll. This role will be an integral team member supporting various payroll systems projects, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. This will include supporting various customer bases, being knowledgeable about different applications, and performing miscellaneous configuration changes. This position will become familiar with all areas within the payroll organization in order to provide oversight and guidance. This position is part of a larger payroll systems team and is expected to operate within a rapidly changing work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedules and conducts meetings with internal departments and external as needed in support of the payroll function.
- Assist with payroll system configuration, setup
- Interact and effectively communicate with internal IT&S and support team to troubleshoot functional system issues
- Works closely with Payroll Service Centers (PSC) to support payroll function of the organization
- Assists with maintenance needs and system functionality questions
- Conducts investigations as warranted, resulting from communicated issues
- Keeps leadership informed of the status of work efforts
- Acts as a resource to PSC and division/facility leadership for payroll related items
- Contributes to training and education materials for use in training; presents training materials as applicable
- Maintains confidentiality with all information
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- Relevant experience may substitute education requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR/Payroll
- Experience with healthcare preferred
- Experience with Infor/Lawson preferred, WORKDAY, KRONUS
- Certified Payroll Professional considered a plus
SCHEDULE
Full-time * Days (No Weekends)
MUST HAVE LARGE PAYROLL EXPERIENCE OF OVER 1000 (REQUIRED)
MUST HAVE GENERAL LEDGER EXP / MUST BE ABLE TO PRESENT TO AN AUDIENCE AND COMMUNICATE WELL.

Pay: $92,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
