What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Practice position at Privia Medical Group?
We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our primary care team in Boerne, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including acute, chronic, and preventive care.
- Manage common pathologies, such as chronic disease management and urgent care cases.
- Perform in-office procedures, including biopsies, joint injections, hormone replacement therapy (HRT/Bio-T), and women's health services.
- Maintain a balanced schedule with approximately 200 patients per day.
- Collaborate with highly skilled support staff, including Medical Assistants and office management.
Schedule & Call Coverage:
- The full-time schedule includes a half-day on Fridays, with flexibility to accommodate acute care and urgent care visits.
- Call rotation is 1:6, with a Nurse Care Line to minimize interruptions.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree with a valid medical license in Texas (or the ability to obtain one).
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
- Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Procedural experience in biopsies, joint injections, and hormone replacement therapy preferred.
