We are looking to add a Business Insight and Analytics Analyst to our Business Intelligence / Data Analytics team. This position can be a remote position. If you live in the St. Louis area, this would be a hybrid role with some required time in the office.

Position Summary

The Business Insight and Analytics Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to identify trends, solve complex problems, and deliver data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources to provide meaningful insights.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business trends.
• Insight Generation
  • Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities in data to support business objectives.
  • Deliver actionable insights to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and revenue growth.
• Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to understand their analytics needs.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise storytelling.
• Data Management & Governance
  • Develop processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and tools.
  • Adhere to data privacy and security policies while managing sensitive information.
• Strategic Support
  • Support strategic planning and forecasting efforts through data-driven modeling.
  • Evaluate business initiatives and measure their impact using quantitative and qualitative metrics.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. Masters degree preferred.

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or a related role.
• Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving business outcomes.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot).
• Advanced skills in Excel and experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
• Hands-on experience with SQL for querying databases.
• Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake) is a plus.
