Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, following established protocols.
• Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Perform loss prevention duties by identifying theft or fraud attempts.
• Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public and staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable.
• Posses a valid Security D license.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must pass background checks as required by company policy.
• Must have a valid Florida Drivers License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Overnight shift
