WHO YOU ARE (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS)
- Associate degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field (bachelors degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with cGMP standards, OSHA safety regulations, and best practices in manufacturing maintenance.
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships for maintenance-related projects.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and implement effective, long-term solutions.
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems and related software.
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with exceptional communication and team leadership skills.
- Commitment to sustainability and identifying innovative ways to reduce environmental impact in maintenance operations.
WHAT YOULL DO (ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
Facility Maintenance and Operations
- Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure all equipment and systems run efficiently and reliably.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Monitor and maintain the facility's critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and machinery.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to achieve high levels of performance and accountability.
- Foster a collaborative, safety-first culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Identify skill gaps and provide training opportunities to support professional growth within the team.
Sustainability and Process Optimization
- Evaluate and recommend sustainable practices to reduce energy consumption and waste within maintenance operations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry advancements to integrate new technologies and practices into operations.
Regulatory Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with cGMP standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues to maintain a safe working environment.
- Work closely with the Quality and Safety teams to ensure alignment on compliance and operational goals.
Project Management
- Manage maintenance projects, including equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs, from planning to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to support operational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, budgets, and project timelines.
