A Little About The Role…

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized AP Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing invoices, managing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with 1-2 days in-office each week, providing flexibility while ensuring collaboration with the team.

Invoice Processing

What You Will Do…

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure proper coding of expenses to the appropriate accounts
  
  

Payment Management

• Prepare and process electronic transfers, ACH payments, and checks
• Maintain payment schedules and ensure on-time payments
• Assist with vendor statement reconciliations
  
  

Record Keeping & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and organized AP records
• Assist in month-end closing by reconciling AP transactions
• Generate AP reports as needed
  
  

Vendor Communication

• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth AP processes
  
  

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have…

Experience

• 1-3 years of AP or general accounting experience (software industry experience is a plus)
  
  

Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups preferred)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
  
  

Education

• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  
  

Soft Skills

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills

Salary

$24-$29/hour DOE

Location

This position is based in our Denver, CO office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver, CO office a few days a week.
