Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education teacher for our school district in Lincolnton, NC. This full-time position involves supporting a K-12 special education caseload. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and collaborating with educational assistants to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the diverse needs of students.
- Apply behavioral intervention strategies to support positive behavior and emotional regulation.
- Design and implement tailored instructional strategies to meet the unique learning requirements of each child.
- Collaborate with educational assistants
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Special Education certification in NC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have adaptive license or severe profound license.
Salary and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $30-$35 . (Dependent on experience and school district budget)
