Job Description
OVERVIEW :
Our client is actively driving the modernization of their program and supporting IT infrastructure. They intended to streamline applications, increase productivity, share data in real-time, and provide a reporting structure that enables data-driven justification for planning and decision making. To support, we are providing program and agile IT management, requirements gathering, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, analytics, reporting / dashboarding, and program and policy analysis.
GENERAL DUTIES :
Support coordinating, planning, strategizing, and collaborating on key business priority projects internally and with external stakeholders.
Support project schedule development and maintenance, scheduling meetings, and tracking and reporting risks, issues, actions, and decisions while partnering with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate status meetings.
Support the design and implementation of a Program Management Office (PMO) and support day-to-day operations.
Assess current PMO capabilities and help define future state operations of the PMO by developing an organizational framework and applicable tools and templates to fully operationalize the PMO.
Provide comprehensive communications, briefing material and brief applicable to leadership and staff regarding the portfolio health of the business transformation effort.
Provide business support services that span the full PMO lifecycle, from strategy through execution.
Services include, but are not limited to, supporting the management of defined PMO activities and artifacts.
Activities and artifacts include major policy, regulatory, legislative, and procedural initiatives that require program and project management support during the planning / strategy, research, analysis, and development stage, as well as significant coordination across business lines to execute and implement.
Support the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and reporting of PMO activities in the government-selected tool(s) for all major initiatives, whether technical or non-technical and may require the development of written new or updated standard operating procedures (SOPs).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree
7-10 years of program management experience
Experience developing, implementing, and executing a PMO preferably within the mortgage industry
Experience working with executive clients and have the ability to be flexible and willing to receive and process feedback
Experience working with individuals that have different functional expertise while working toward a common goal
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to lead and direct a team
Working knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Project
Effective verbal and written communications

SAFe® 5 Certified Agilist
SAFe® 5 Certified Scrum Master

Recent VA consulting experience and familiarity with VA organization and programs
Knowledge of VA benefit programs and eligibility requirements to include the Home Loan Guaranty and Specially Adapted Housing Programs
