The successful candidate will be required to serve as a bridge between global accounts payable and procurement teams, local accounting, and lines of business. This role focuses on enhancing collaboration and resolving issues related to pricing, quality, and delivery with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between global accounts payable, procurement teams, local accounting, and lines of business.
- Train global procurement and accounts payable teams to improve departmental collaboration.
- Assist in resolving supplier-related issues concerning pricing, quality, and delivery.
- Oversee the management of sales tax exemption certificates.
Requirements:
- Background in Accounting, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in purchasing, accounts payable, or related areas such as planning, inventory control, or finance within a process manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SAP logistics and business modules.
- Strong skills in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with MS Access is advantageous.
