Cannabis Dispensary Budtenders

We are seeking full-time Cannabis Dispensary Associates/Budtenders to join our dynamic team. At ZazaGreen, we offer premium cannabis products to all types of customers, whether a first-time shopper or well-versed consumers of cannabis products. Our experienced and dedicated team is comprised of cannabis industry experts and pioneers who are ready to provide excellent customer-friendly services to our local residents and visitors in Western Massachusetts.

We are seeking full-time Retail Associates/Budtenders to provide outstanding customer service to loyal patrons at our Springfield, MA, location. Available positions range from 30-40 hours per week, evenings and weekends are required. We believe that skills can be taught, so candidates with positive attitude who are willing to learn, and grow are welcome to apply.

• Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in compliance with company policies and Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations.

Essential job functions include, but not limited to:

• Checking identification and managing flow of customers into and out of the dispensary.
• Acting as a knowledgeable and helpful guide to assist customers in selecting the products their choosing.
• Fulfilling in person and online orders.
• Operating cash register, counting and preparing cash drops when appropriate.
• Cleaning surrounding areas and dispensary as needed.
• Maintaining inventory and supplies.

Qualifications & experience:

• Applicants must at least 21 years old to apply.
• Must be willing to participate in a criminal background verification (iCORI) in accordance with the Cannabis Control Commission (CCC).
• High school diploma or GED required. A combination of two or more years of experience as a retail associate or a Budtender, and some education instead of a high school diploma will be considered.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) candidates will be preferred.
• Cannabis industry experience is strongly desired.
• Previous customer service experience in the retail and/or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Basic math skills, including adding and subtraction is required.
• Ability to resolve complaints/concerns or issues in a professional manner.
• Flexibility with work schedule during evenings and weekends is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hour shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Busy retail environment with moderate noise level.
• Ability to multi-task, answer calls and speak with customers, etc.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist.
