What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Research Clerk position at Professional Alternatives?
The Homestead Exemption Analysis Department is seeking a researcher and call center representative to join their team. This individual will be responsible for researching homesteaded properties to verify the validity of granted exemptions, responding to inquiries from taxpayers, and maintaining accurate records of all research and call activities.
Candidates must possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a friendly demeanor. They may also be assigned special projects by their manager. We are looking for an individual with a proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask, take initiative, and meet shifting deadlines.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, eager to learn new skills, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. While prior call center experience is not required, a strong background in customer service is essential.
This is a contract to hire position!
The ideal candidate must possess the qualities below :
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
- 1 years solid professional admin experience
- Researching skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Strong confident telephone voice
- Ability to Multitask
- Self-sufficient
- Prioritize and Re-Prioritize with a sense of urgency
- Customer service skills
- Call center experience is preferred
This position will be in-person during the training period, thereafter it will be remote with a mandatory monthly in-person training sessions.
