Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers who come in for an oil change. You'll be providing exceptional service and support while they wait throughout their automotive service experience. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and expertise in automotive services to effectively communicate with customers about their vehicle needs, ensuring that they receive the best possible solutions.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and relay the lube technicians assessment on their automotive service needs.
- Provide accurate estimates for recommended services such as, tire service, alignments, and maintenance.
- Utilize auto estimating tools to prepare detailed service recommendations.
- Schedule appointments and manage the workflow of vehicles in the service department.
- Communicate clearly with the lube technicians regarding customer concerns and service requirements.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of services performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive service or a related field is preferred, but will train the right person.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle systems and repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A valid driver's license is required.
