- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with Livewire senior Leadership team to develop and implement a robust strategic plan for the power generation division. This includes setting ambitious yet achievable goals, defining clear performance metrics, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Mission & Goals: Reflect and embody Livewire Power's strategic vision within the Operations team. Enhance operational efficiency and team collaboration. Act as the primary liaison for power generation and Gas Conditioning activities and initiatives.
- Industry Relationships: The VP Operations will create and nurture industry relationships to foster new business and execute the jobs in the order books with potential new partners.
- Asset position: Constantly look at current utilization of the assets and future demand for power and gas conditioning and assess capital budget needs to increase/ upgrade Livewire Power asset position.
- New use cases: Demonstrate and develop strong understanding of underlying business segment along with an understanding of customer’s business needs. Evolve the business in applying it to new use cases in the power generation space and gas conditioning, innovating with integrated solutions across stranded gas and microgrid/ grid power.
- Scaling: Oversee the scaling of the entire Power Generation and Gas Conditioning operations, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, staffing, and equipment.
- Best Customer Experience: Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that Livewire Power Drives consistently meets or exceeds their needs and expectations.
- Team Development: Responsible for the hiring, training, and mentorship of a high-performing team. The DPG will work closely with team leads to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization: Lead the effort in identifying and implementing process improvements within Livewire Power, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure disciplined approach in executing PM cycles, equipment certifications and upkeeping of maintenance records. Clarity of SOP and JSAs. Capturing/ recording field issues – RCA – improvement implementation – disposition. Structured operations KPIs and customer KPIs on the job.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate various risks to the division, including operational, financial, and reputational risks.
- Operational Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive overview of day-to-day operations, defines schedule of equipment deployment and crew assignments across Power Generation and Gas conditioning, facilitating effective communication and coordination among Power Generation and Gas Conditioning teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Ten (10) or more years’ experience in a similar role within the power generation or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent strategic planning and risk management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Familiarity with environmental and safety standards.
- Problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
- Able to read, speak and write English.
- Interpret and make decisions in conformance with established policies and practices.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, world, PowerPoint, and Outlook and have prior experience.
- Able to work under stressful conditions at times.

- Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week dependent on workload.
