The Patient Care Coordinator role is all about being the friendly face at the front desk, helping our patients with the check-in and check-out process. You'll be answering multiple phone lines, managing messages and information in our EMR system, scheduling appointments, and entering patient data. You'll also handle incoming paperwork, including faxes. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to assist with various tasks assigned by the Office Manager.

You will not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type and Expected Work Hours:
This is a full-time position. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, but there may be occasions when you need to work outside these hours based on business and patient needs.

- You will play a key role in accurately managing patient information within our EMR System
- In this role, you'll be helping to process all the necessary paperwork for our patient care process
- You will take on various administrative office tasks, including warmly greeting patients, checking them in and out, scheduling appointments, gathering patient history, and making sure that everyone feels welcomed and attended to in a professional way
- You'll be responsible for answering incoming calls by the third ring, checking voicemails, and returning calls as needed
- You will complete the billing spreadsheet and send it to accounting on a weekly basis
- You will prepare the weekly deposits for the office manager
- It's important to ensure that the lobby is well-managed and that patients who are waiting are recognized and updated on their wait times
- You will help keep the office area and front lobby clean and sanitized
- Your role includes performing other office duties and procedures related to patient care
- Proficient use of office equipment and computer programs is key, making sure all information is up-to-date and correct, and alerting managers if any issues arise
- You will be responsible for setting up maintenance for office equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order and reporting any problems to management
- You will ensure that opening and closing procedures are carried out accurately and efficiently
- Your administrative tasks will include filing, welcoming clients, maintaining office cleanliness, managing Florida Shots, and scanning
- Any other duties assigned to you will also be part of your responsibilities

- Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience: Experience in a medical setting is preferred
