Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist clients, members, and guests as they enter our facility with a friendly and upbeat attitude
- Handle client check-ins, answer inquiries about facility operations, policies, and services
- Stay ahead of the schedule, ensuring smooth transitions between sessions and addressing any potential issues before they arise
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients about new updates, events, or appointments
- Help maintain the facility by monitoring equipment, ensuring everything is in top condition, and addressing any damages
- Coordinate events, manage schedules in Mindbody, and work with coaches on class details and special requests
- Assist with marketing needs by providing event details to the team for flyer creation
- Provide excellent customer service, handle cash processing, and work as part of the team to keep operations running smoothly
- Recognize opportunities to upsell memberships and services based on client needs and fitness goals, ensuring they find the best package for their lifestyle
What We’re Looking For:
- A team player with prior experience in a fitness facility or related environment
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to anticipate issues and take proactive action
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and digitally (emails, voicemails, social media)
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain focus on tasks in a busy environment
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle client concerns or frustrations with patience and professionalism
- A self-starter with a passion for the fitness industry and a commitment to creating positive experiences for clients
Required Skills:
- Customer Service Experience (Fitness experience is a plus!)
- Cash Handling Experience (preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot and address issues quickly and effectively
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Ability to identify opportunities to upsell and recommend appropriate packages to clients
