Group Fitness Trainer
Role:
We are seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Group Fitness Trainer to lead high-quality training sessions for individuals of all fitness levels. The ideal candidate thrives in both large-group and one-on-one settings, ensuring clients achieve their fitness goals through structured programming, motivation, and expert guidance.
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, CSCS, ISSA, NSCA)
- Experience coaching large groups, small groups, and individual clients
- Strong knowledge of strength training, conditioning, and client retention strategies
- Ability to seamlessly switch between training styles, from high-energy bootcamps to personalized PT sessions
- Proven ability to balance multiple fitness levels in a single class
Responsibilities:
- Design and lead engaging, results-driven group training sessions, including Bootcamp, HIIT, Metabolic Conditioning, and Strength Classes
- Coach small group sessions focusing on Strength, Hypertrophy, or Hybrid Workouts
- Deliver one-on-one training tailored to personalized client goals
- Track client progress and adjust training programs accordingly
- Educate clients on proper form, injury prevention, and strength programming
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, promoting retention and satisfaction
- Encourage long-term memberships and upsell training programs
- Upsell personal training packages and additional services to support clients’ fitness journeys
Results:
- Create a motivating and inclusive fitness environment that fosters progress and accountability
- Improve overall client retention and satisfaction through expert coaching and engagement
- Increase class participation and personal training sign-ups by delivering high-value sessions
- Help clients achieve measurable fitness goals while maintaining safety and injury prevention
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to demonstrate exercises and lead high-intensity workouts
- Must be able to lift and move heavy weights and equipment as needed
- Comfortable standing, walking, and instructing for extended periods
- Physically capable of adjusting clients’ form and assisting with movements when necessary
