Intake Coordinator – Project Ezrah
Project Ezrah is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Bergen County Jewish
community through services such as financial planning, budgeting, job search assistance, and
more.
We are seeking a part-time Intake Coordinator to join our Englewood, NJ office. The
successful candidate will be professional, courteous, and discreet with clients while also being a
detail-oriented, organized, reliable member of the team who can multi-task as needed.
Role and Responsibilities
● Serve as the initial point of contact for new clients:
○ Gather basic client information during the initial call.
○ Establish rapport and build a trusting relationship with clients.
○ Prepare client profiles for social workers and schedule appointments.
● Coordinate pro bono volunteer activities:
○ Maintain accurate records of pro bono service providers and ensure smooth
collaboration.
○ Manage consent release forms through DocuSign.
○ Conduct regular follow-ups with pro bono volunteers to sustain strong
relationships.
● Ensure accurate and up-to-date client information in the database.
● Provide case management services, including:
○ Assisting clients with applications for government benefits.
○ Training clients to use Project Ezrah’s budgeting system.
○ Offering guidance in urgent situations.
● Become familiar with and make referrals to government and community benefit
programs.
● Stay informed about new resources relevant to Project Ezrah clients.
● Coordinate client-side activities for annual grant cycle programs, including Passover,
school break activities, and day camp scholarships.
● Collaborate with agency staff and community organizations to ensure seamless delivery
of services.

Requirements
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Suite.
● Experience with database management (Salesforce experience is a plus).
● Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-up abilities.

● Ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively as part of a team.
● Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

● Location: Englewood, NJ (in-office).
● Schedule: Part-time, 4 days/week, approximately 20 hours per week.
