Intake Manager Responsibilities:

The essential functions/duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• ·Responsible for administrative management of branch program in a specific area: Behavioral Health Intake
• · Knowledgeable of BH program and process in order to educate referrals and families
• ·Intake of new referrals
• ·Obtain and review all related documents from new families
• ·Verify insurance coverage and share with families
• ·Verify eligibility coverage of all cases during the first and second business day of the month
• ·Submit authorization to insurance for Initial Assessment
• ·Communicate with BCBAs on new case Initial Assessments and due dates
• ·Build relationships with Insurance contacts and outside referral sources
• ·Serve as primary liaison with referral sources for maintenance and new business development.
• ·Coordinate with Program Manager and Recruiter to ensure flow between new hires and new cases
• ·Coordinate with Program Manager on upkeep with provider appointments
• ·Coordinate with Program Manager on Reassessments
• ·Attend meetings and participates in projects, as required
• ·Attend weekly team meetings
• ·Any additional duties assigned by the director
• ·Should be highly motivated and have strong interpersonal skills
• ·Knowledge of insurance
• ·Must be organized and detail oriented
• ·Strong computer and reporting skills
• ·Ability to multi-task
• ·Strong initiative and team oriented
• ·Strategic and organizational thinking

• -Submit Initial Assessments for authorization approval
• -Input new families into TotalABA platforms
• -Accomplish monthly targeted objectives to meet branch financial goals

Required Skills/Abilities:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

· B.A. preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, telephone, computer) Ability to lift up to 5 pounds

· Ability to sit for extended periods of time
