Description
As an Intern at Project Lead The Way (PLTW), you will work as part of our Team to support a variety of initiatives and contribute to meaningful projects that drive our goals. As an integral part of our team, we will count on you to bring new ideas and insights, consistently demonstrating a commitment to our core values of Togetherness, Inclusion, Learning, and Customer Centricity.
This is a full-time, hybrid, paid summer internship with a minimum of 3 days onsite at the PLTW office. The internship will last approximately 10 weeks beginning in May and ending in August.
As an Intern at PLTW you will:
- Participate in meaningful projects that directly impact our business and relate to your field of study.
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization.
- Have direct exposure to cross functional Leadership and opportunities to learn about the various business functions at PLTW.
- Spend time with other summer interns and participate in foundational professional learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate PLTW Grant Cycle for growth opportunities.
- Prospecting for new funding partners.
- Support summer Grants events.
Learning Opportunities & Growth Skills
- Gain knowledge and experience with Salesforce
- Gain knowledge and understanding of Grant & Change Management
- Experience learning about Fundraising Cycle
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Requirements
Knowledge
- This internship is open to students pursuing a degree in Philanthropic Studies, Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or a related field of study.
