As the Site Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all controls and equipment-related activities on-site. You will work closely with both the Controls Project Manager and the Equipment Project Manager, who will provide support and coordination to ensure the successful execution of their respective areas. Below is a detailed outline of scope and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Overall Site Leadership:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all controls and equipment-related activities on-site.
- Provide daily oversight and coordination between the Controls and Equipment teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure that project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met according to schedule.
Coordination with Controls Project Manager:
- Liaise with the Controls PM to monitor progress on all controls installations, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure that any issues or delays in controls work are addressed in real-time to maintain alignment with the overall project schedule.
- Support the Controls PM in managing resources, manpower, and materials for on-time completion.
Coordination with Equipment Project Manager:
- Work closely with the Equipment PM to oversee the installation, testing, and startup of all mechanical equipment.
- Ensure the Equipment PM has the necessary resources and support to manage the equipment installation without delays.
- Collaborate with the Equipment PM to address any site-specific challenges related to logistics, delivery, or installation.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with both controls and equipment-related activities.
- Work with the relevant PMs to proactively resolve issues that may affect the project schedule or quality.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address unforeseen site conditions.
Quality Control:
- Ensure that all controls and equipment installations meet the project’s quality standards and comply with relevant codes and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections with the Controls and Equipment teams to verify work progress and address any discrepancies.
Reporting and Communication:
- Provide daily and weekly updates to the senior project team on the status of controls and equipment activities.
- Ensure transparent and timely communication between all site teams and off-site stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on project progress, potential delays, and mitigation strategies.
Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
- Serve as the key contact for client inquiries regarding controls and equipment progress on-site.
- Participate in meetings with the client, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all parties are aligned with the project goals and deliverables.
Support from Controls and Equipment Project Managers:
- You will have direct support from the Controls PM and Equipment PM, who will handle day-to-day technical aspects of their respective domains.
- Both PMs will assist with technical troubleshooting, manpower management, and coordination of resources as needed.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
